Ravi Teja’s girl Anjana Sukhani of ‘Don Seenu’ fame says that she’d rather bide her time and take up offers that come her way. She may not have had a meteoric rise in her career graph, but Anjana Sukhani says that she’d rather be like a slow and steady tortoise than make a quick impression and vanish just as soon.

“I agree that my growth as an actor has been rather slow, but I don’t want to kill myself thinking about it. I suppose that the reason is that I was not focusing on one industry at a time. I kept shuttling between Hindi and Southern films,” says Anjana. Though the actor attributes her sluggish growth to logistical issues, she maintains that she has done some good work in the industry. “I won’t beg for work. I come from a non-filmi background and considering that, I think I have done a pretty decent job,” she adds.

But Lady Luck seems to be smiling upon Anjana now as she has three Hindi films in her kitty and a few more offers coming her way. “I have almost completed “Department”. I am paired opposite Tollywood star Rana Daggubati in the film and I loved working with director Ram Gopal Varma. He is a genius and it was nice to work with an ensemble cast that comprises Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt.”
